MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1 - What are the advantages of staying at a Buenos Aires Habitat apartment as compared to a hotel?
Our apartments are completely furnished and equipped to make you feel as home. Staying in an apartment can save you up to 50% of the cost of a luxury hotel. Our apartments offer a generous living space and privacy which hotel rooms cannot provide. The fully equipped kitchen allows the guest to prepare meals when desired and save additional money.

2 - How do I make reservations?
Fill in the reservation form first. Once Buenos Aires Habitat receives your request we proceed to check the availability of the chosen apartment for the requested dates. If availability is confirmed, we shall send you the necessary information to complete the reservation procedure.

3 - How long shall I wait for Buenos Aires Habitat 's reply?
Under normal conditions we reply to requests within 48 business hours. If you have not received a reply after 72 hours, please contact us again.

4 - Is there a minimum length for the tenancy?
Yes, they should last at least three nights. Some apartments have a longer term.

5 - When is the reservation confirmed?
Once we receive the money from the reserve in Buenos Aires, we will send you an email confirming that the booking has been finalized.

6 - Shall you reimburse me the reservation payment if I cancel?
No, the money received as reservation cannot be reimbursed for any reason.

7 - Which are the payment methods accepted?
Upon your arrival, we shall meet you at the apartment, at that moment the full payment must be done along with the guarantee deposit. All these payments must be made in CASH. Credit cards are not accepted.

8 - What is the security deposit for?
The guest must hand in a given amount of money that will be returned upon the termination of the contract, provided the apartment is in good repair and free of damages.

9 - How much is the security deposit?
The amount of the refundable security deposit will vary according to the length of your stay and the category of the apartment requested. The minimum amount is $400 USD.

10 - If the length of the tenancy is shorter, shall I be reimbursed ?
No, former payments are not reimbursed in case of shorter stays.

11 - Which expenses are included in the published rates?
The published rates include all maintenance expenses, electricity, gas, water, cable TV, telephone, maid service and taxes. Some apartments offer additional services such as Wi-Fi internet, which is also included. Please check the corresponding expenses in the chosen apartment

12 - How are the apartments equipped?
All our apartments have fully equipped kitchens with microwave, fridge and basic kitchenware. The bedrooms and bathrooms have linen and towels and the apartments have cable TV. The most luxurious buildings offer swimming pool, gym, etc.

13 - Are there apartments with Internet high speed connection?
Yes. Most of our apartments have Wi-FI internet connection.

14 - Are pets allowed in the apartments?
No, we do not allow pets in the apartments.

15 - Who will wait for me at the apartment upon my arrival?
On the day of your arrival a member of our staff or the owner shall receive you to give you the apartment keys, check the inventory and remain at you disposal for anything you may need during your stay.

16 - Is there a fixed check-in and check-out time?
We shall receive you any time you arrive at the apartment. Guests should check-out before 12 pm.

17 - Who shall I contact in case I have any trouble at the apartment?
Upon your arrival you will be given the contact details of your landlord and of one of the members of Buenos Aires Habitat staff who will assist you in all your needs.
